This Monday, the local High School will be starting a clothing drive to benefit survivors of the recent hurricane in the Caribbean. Honor roll student Sally Smith suggested the creation of the drive after seeing news of the terrific hurricane.
When asked about why she felt like she needed to do something she said I just felt so bad for them and wanted to do something to make a difference.
Sally's strides toward making a difference have made her a role model to her fellow students and community. Donations will be picked up daily at the football field.
